Faculty Observer — Professor Pengyu Hong
Isaac is a Senior at Brandeis studying computer science. He has experience working in the computer science department as a TA and has also worked as an investment analyst intern at the Brandeis Endowment. He enjoys skiing, basketball, and spending time with friends and family.
Adam is a sophomore at Brandeis studying computer science and applied mathematics. He is an Amazon Web Services Certified Cloud Practitioner and spends much of his free time designing personal projects centered around deep learning. He enjoys playing racket sports, pool, and spending time with his friends.
Silas is a Junior majoring in Economics with specializations in math and finance. He has experience working as a data analyst at Brave for Veterans. In his free time he enjoys soccer, rugby and watching movies.
Taj is a junior at Brandeis studying Economics. He is passionate about equity research and portfolio optimization and has also developed an interest in mathematics while at Brandeis. He also has experience as an analyst in the Brandeis investment club. Outside of school/work he enjoys college football, snowboarding, soccer, learning spanish, and history.
Vishnu is a graduate student at Brandeis University studying Physics with a focus in Biological Physics. He is passionate about computational physics and using data science to attack complex real-world problems. His current research is on travelling patterns in chemotactically microswimmer systems. Outside of work, he enjoys weightlifting, cricket and soccer.

Ephraim studied computer science with a minor in mathematics at Brandeis. He served as president of the club from its inception in 2021 December of 2023 and enjoys being able to work on fun, interesting techniques in computer science outside of the classroom. He is a fan of the music of George Gershwin, Italian food, and cross country.
Daniel studied computer science with a minor in mathematics at Brandeis. He served as president of the club in the Spring of 2024. He is an aspiring quant interested in the intersections of math, computer science, and the financial markets. Fond of board games, long walks, and scally hats.
